Makeup Shelf ("we", "us", "the app") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect

Makeup Shelf stores your product entries (brand, shade, photos, notes, usage history) locally on your device. We do not maintain a server-side database of your makeup collection.

• On-device data: Your product list, photos you add, and usage logs stay on your iPhone or iPad.
• iCloud sync (optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to it.
• Anonymous analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (e.g. feature taps) help us improve the app. No personally identifying information is collected.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts.
• We do not sell or share any data with advertisers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third-party services

This website (makeupshelf.app) uses standard web request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and rate-limiting only. We may use Apple's App Store and ad measurement tools that aggregate clicks anonymously.

Your rights

You can delete all your Makeup Shelf data at any time by deleting the app, which removes the local database. iCloud-synced data can be removed from Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children

Makeup Shelf is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
